Spec Sales Page for The Happiness Club
The client wanted a sales page rewrite that effectively communicated the benefits of “The Happiness Club” membership and encouraged sign-ups by making the page more compelling and accessible.
The ideal customer was a woman aged 40-60 who had experienced stress, anxiety, or depression and was seeking proactive, daily mental health support.
Overall Tone: Warm, reassuring, and grounded with a hint of directness.
Energy: Friendly and understanding, offering a mix of compassion and straightforward honesty.
Avoid: Clinical or overly formal language. Avoid sounding too “self-help” or idealistic.
Client preferred authenticity and “real talk”, therefore for this client they were comfortable with some very informal/”raw” language.

[HEADLINE]
You don’t need to find your calm. I can bring it to you.
[SUB-HEADLINE]
Join The Happiness Club and I’ll help you with your mental health everyday, without you having to remember or go searching for it.
[BODY]
Do any of these sound familiar to you? You’re awake at 3am, trying so hard not to reach for your phone (again) to Google answers for scenarios you’ve never faced, but somehow feel tortured by.
Or maybe you’re sitting in the car waiting for the kids to come out of school, tearfully counting down the last few precious minutes before the inevitable post-school chaos begins, already feeling well and truly crushed by the evening ahead of you.
How about this one? You’re at work, nodding along to your boss, who’s asking if it’s fine to add yet another thing to your already over-flowing to-do list, and saying yes even while your chest feels crushed by sheer panic and your brain’s screaming “I cannot do this any more! Please, I can’t! I can’t!”
I get it. I’ve felt it.
You don’t feel like you’re in a place where you need full-on therapy and yet…it’s still all a bit too much, isn’t it? And by the way, it’s completely ok to feel like that.
You might feel like you’re so bloody fed-up all the time, that even though you really want someone to help you with your mental health, you’re already feeling so fucking overwhelmed that you just don’t have the energy or motivation to be constantly seeking it out.
I’d like to show you a different way. A pro-active way to protect your mental and emotional health rather than just quick “fixes”. You need the kind of support that comes to you, the kind that shows up for you every day, without even being asked.
Imagine being able to fall asleep without an hour or two of doom-scrolling first, or genuinely feeling like you’re in control of juggling work, kids and your social life, despite the constant demands life can place upon you. This is where The Happiness Club wants to bring you to. We really do care - and we want to take care of you.
Even if you’re someone who generally copes well, but just feel like it’s important to protect yourself from future mental-health issues, The Happiness Club is here for you too.

The Happiness Club
My name is Jo and I’m the founder of The Happiness Club.
There was a time when I used to experience stress and anxiety (to high levels) every single day. I had learned how to mask it well, but that meant no-one around me knew how I was really feeling. On the outside I was coping with my work and being a new mum. But on the inside, I was exhausted and crying out for some help to stop feeling constantly stressed and anxious about, well…fucking everything really!
Things only changed when I eventually learned that taking even just a few small moments each day to focus on my mental health made all the difference in the world.
I have also gone through therapy myself, but while I was later becoming a therapist (I’m now an Advanced Hypnotherapist with a psychology degree and a diploma in mindfulness) I realised there are some people who just don’t want to go to full-blown therapy sessions. And that’s fair enough!
There are also people who need a bit of support between their therapy sessions. Some of my clients even used to ask if they could put me in their pocket and take me home with them! It was this kind of comment that really showed me that while traditional therapy is awesome, there’s still a gap between the sessions where people might need a bit of extra help.
I created The Happiness Club to provide a different option for anyone who needs less formal support but still needs the consistency of regular help and advice. But just so you know, for anyone seeking traditional therapy, we also offer options for that too. We want to be here for everyone, however you need it.
What do our members get to enjoy as part of The Happiness Club?
We’ll send you daily strategies on our app every morning to help start your day off right and mindful tasks to keep it on track - as well as gratitude exercises every evening. These are all sent straight to you every single day, without you needing to remember or have to go looking for it, because who has time for that shit, especially if you’re already feeling overwhelmed!
You can wake up each day knowing that we’ve already thought of ways to make your day easier.
There’s also real-time support, provided by phone, message or email - whatever works best for you. This isn’t clinical therapy, but it can provide you with the help you need in that moment when you’re really struggling.
You never have to feel like you’re alone in those difficult 2am moments when your brain simply won’t stop and your anxiety is spiralling.
We offer a monthly live meditation session to bring our community together and allow you to really take some time for yourself. The scheduled session will push you to dedicate the time you need to focus and relax.
For anyone who might occasionally need more traditional clinical therapy, our higher membership tiers offer additional therapeutic support on a monthly or quarterly basis, helping you through the hard times and keeping you on track. No more worrying about finding the right person to help - let us put you in touch with them, and get support at a frequency that feels right for you.
We don’t make you go looking for the support you need, it’s all right there in one place on our app and the support will make its way to you without you needing to set yet another (!) reminder or alarm. We’ve got you.
Being part of The Happiness Club also means that you become part of a community of people who genuinely understand what you’re going through and want to support you in a way that’s open to everyone and easy to access, but still safe.
What makes us unique?
With The Happiness Club, you’ll receive daily strategies every single day, without you needing to come to us. We want you to know we’re here for you, and that means showing up for you consistently. Let us take the load in caring for your mental health.
Self-care should be a priority, but it shouldn’t feel like just another plate to spin.

FAQs
What makes your mental health app different from all the others?
There are a lot of mental health apps out there already, it’s true. But most of them rely on you going to them when you feel like you need support and make you decide what mood you’re in before it can give you that help. That’s not us. We want you to feel supported EVERY day, because we think small, consistent action is better than only looking for it when you feel desperate.
Of course, there is always the additional support and therapy available for those moments when you’re really struggling, but this is an extra. We always start by coming to you first.
What happens if I sign-up and it doesn’t work for me or I just don’t use it?
Your membership is charged on a rolling-monthly basis, so you’re in complete control of when it starts and ends. I’m confident you will benefit from your membership in more ways than you expect, but if you don’t feel like it’s for you, you can cancel anytime.
I’m not about to add an unwanted bill to your worries and I know how important it is to good mental health to know that you’re in control.
What if my mental health isn’t bad enough to need this?
You don’t have to already be experiencing poor mental health to benefit from joining The Happiness Club. Some people just feel that their mental health is something that should be protected and so they want to take action ahead of any problems.
But ultimately, I think you’re probably here because you do already feel like you need some support, and that’s ok. You’re not broken and there’s nothing wrong with you if you sometimes feel like you are!
Many people struggle with their mental health from time to time and even if it’s not to a significant degree, you are still worthy of help. We still care and we want to help, no matter where you’re starting from.
How do I know that any information I share within the community will be kept private?
We understand that mental health is a sensitive subject and often really hard to talk about. Your privacy is incredibly important to us and any information shared within our support services or therapy sessions is kept strictly confidential, just as you would expect from any other mental health service.
There is also an expectation that any information discussed within the community should remain within it in order to keep it safe for all our members, though we would still discourage you from sharing your personal/contact or medical details.
